| Bio: | Who Are You? I’m Prue. Procrastinator, Show Pony, Blogger. Only Child. Most people say that last one is obvious. Apparently, I’m an attention seeker. All my school reports noted that I had a habit of distracting other people and that I was not the star of the show. Bollocks to that. I was totally the star of the show. They just didn’t know it yet. Why do you “say sit”? I don’t but it’s generally easier just to tell people I like to sit. Therefore others should sit too. When I first start blogging, sometime around 1999, I found a URL redirector, and chose the says.it domain. When I finally got my own domain, the name had caught on, and thus it was Prue Says It. It was catchy enough, and well, I wasn’t too worried about what my site was called. Plus, I do say a fair amount… So it all worked out in the end. Where are you from? I grew up in Keysborough, a suburb of Melbournes South East, where Moccasins aren’t just an inside shoe. Since the age of 17, I’ve lived in Warragul, Mt Waverley, Huntingdale, Box Hill, Camberwell, Hawthorn and currently reside in the cosy little beachside nook of Aspendale. Do you live with anyone? I’ve acquired and annoyed many a housemate. I currently live with Nate, my ex boyfriend, and Loz, who’s a smaller, younger and more tattooed version of myself. You keep referring to _______, who the hell is that? So, I should inform you a bit about the players in this little narrative. Jim/James- At the beginning of this journal, he was still my boyfriend. We’d been together for nearly 2.5 years by the time I started writing. Not too long after that, we broke up, but remained great friends for about 3 years. Then there was some ‘unpleasantness’ and we haven’t really spoken since. Teeda- Has been my best friend since sometime around 2001. Even though we went to High School together, and shared the same group of friends, we weren’t particularly friendly. We eventually formed a bond over the fact we were the only 2 of our group of female friends with boyfriends, so we’d confide in one another about relationship issues. Eventually it just blossomed into a friendship that neither of us ever expected. We’re so entirely different, yet we click so well together. We lived together during 2003 for 12 months, and again in 2006. Andrea- Another close High School friend of mine. She’s now a Solicitor and we see eachother a few times a week generally. Dave- A friend at the time, and housemate throughout 2003. It didn’t quite work out, to put it lightly, and we haven’t really spoken since. DW- A fairly large player in this Blog. I met him at my Housewarming when I moved into Mt Waverley. We began an on again/off again…generally off again affair that left me more in love than I ever imagined I’d be. It went on for quite a long time. Even years later, I still think about him, love whatever it was we had and occasionally write about him. Adam/MulletAdam/ALM - A guy I dated…briefly. He was all sorts of wrong, yet somehow kinda right. We’ve been in touch on and off for the last few years. I loved him too. Still do. Loz- We met thru our parents, our mothers work together. She’s become such a close friend and I see a lot of myself in her. I adore her self confindance and attitude, and wish that I had been as strong as her when I was her age. Greg- A guy I met thru the Net about 3 years ago. We’ve been great buddies since. He basically lives with me, just doesn’t pay any rent. He makes up for it by bringing slabs of Coke Zero and playing handyman around the house. If there is anyone else that I haven’t identified, and you’d like to know how they fit into my life…just send me an email.
